Established in 1952, by the late George G. Goettler, Goettlers of Dublin began as a Red and White grocery store in Dublin, Ontario. Serving the Dublin and surrounding townships the Red and White Market sold groceries, china, dry goods and furniture.


In 1977 George G., with wife, Ally transformed their business model to furniture and mattresses from their expanded home base of the Joseph Kidd Dry Goods store, an 1869 Confederation building.


With a keen eye to style and design, George and Ally developed their design expertise with son, Stephen who joins the business in 1982.


Goettlers of Dublin solidifies its reputation as Ontario’s Furniture Village; often being described as a premier furniture destination.


A major redesign of Goettlers of Dublin transpires in 2010 when Steve’s wife, Vivi Jensen Goettler, joins the company as Secretary/Treasurer. A complete overhaul of its infrastructure with enhancements to further build on Goettlers of Dublin’s exemplary customer service reputation, with leading edge point of sale and inventory management systems.


Goettlers of Dublin has long been known for its elevated design flair. Steve and Vivi attend design and furniture markets internationally to source the latest trends in design.


Throughout 2016 Goettlers of Dublin demonstrates its digital media expertise with Holiday Weekend promotions providing sensational savings in an environment when shopping is at the customer’s convenience.

2018 was a benchmark year as Goettlers of Dublin appoints its first female President, Vivi Jensen Goettler, and celebrates its 66th year of business.
