Our Story Goettlers of Dublin
Established in 1952, by the late George G. Goettler, Goettlers of Dublin began as a Red and White grocery store in Dublin, Ontario. Serving the Dublin and surrounding townships the Red and White Market sold groceries, china, dry goods and furniture.
In 1977 George G., with wife, Ally transformed their business model to furniture and mattresses from their expanded home base of the Joseph Kidd Dry Goods store, an 1869 Confederation building.
With a keen eye to style and design, George and Ally developed their design expertise with son, Stephen who joins the business in 1982.
